How I got into internet marketing
Ever since I was kid, I just ‘got’ computers. Also, I found out that I am one of that rare ‘breed’ of people that likes to interact with people just as much as with computers. People would make me explain how to do things all the time!
But there was more: I also liked to play around with colors, shapes, letters and words. Yet, since I got bored so easy, it took me a long time to find out the right mix to keep me both useful and inspired. And the more inspired I am, the more useful I usually get…
For you as business owner this is a great benefit: not only am I able to give you sound advice, but I am also well able to explain why and how things need to be done, and I can give you the hands on assistance in getting things done.
Internet marketing and gourmet cooking are much alike
I can speak from experience, I have a degree in Hotel Management. I know like no other how the quality of a dish is determined by a complex mix of, amongst others, the selection and quality of ingredients, the way of preparation and the amount of dedication and love. Not to mention the taste and sensitivities of the persons eating the dish… One small adjustment can have huge (positive or negative) effects. Finetuning during the preparation process is possible, but only after preparing the same dish a few times in a slightly different way, you can tell what works and what not.
The same thing goes for entrepreneurship, and for that matter for internet marketing. Just like every cook, every entrepreneur and every business is unique. What works for my business does not necessarily work for yours, or for all of you businesses.
